The Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, organized an exhibition to be celebrate the 50th year of the faculty, which went from the 24th of Janyary to the 2nd of February. There were many demonstrations on Linux/Unix and related software at the Department of Computer Sciences, including networking, web development, control systems, graphics and image manipulation, simulations, games and multimedia etc.
